Born in 1993, Dennis led a normal life until his parents separated, leaving him in the care of his father who was unable to care for him or provide any stability. Dennis was left alone and became very bitter about being neglected by his parents. Like many boys his age, he headed for the streets to look for companionship and food.
After some time in the streets, Dennis ended up in a juvenile prison. Upon his release in 2007, a social worker connected Dennis to our center. At D4K, Dennis has made great strides as part of the D4K community and attends St. Mary’s Primary School where he is currently in 6th grade.
Dennis has also made fast progress in catching up in his studies. He is talented in soccer and dancing and aspires to be an artist.
