Hezron Kimuthia Print E-mail

hezronBorn in 1992, Hezron Kimuthia  is from the village of Naivasha. When he was 11 years old his parents passed away, leaving Hezron and his two sisters as orphans. Although the family had a good relationship with their grandmother, she was unable fiancially to take of three children. As a temporary solution, the children were distributed to different family members living in the Nairobi area. After about a year, Hezron learned that his sister had been the victim of mistreatment, and he took it upon himself to seek help. With the help of the local chief, Hezron accompanied his sister to an organization that was able to assit in the matter. However, since it was only for girls, Hezron was eventually relocated to D4K in 2005.

Hezron is now studying at Oloitoktok Boys High School in form one. He is a friendly and outgoing young man and an avid football player. After he completes his education, he hopes to become a pilot someday.

The world asks, “What does a man own?” Christ asks, “How does he use it?”

If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry and not be answered.
