Born in 1991, David (Yusuf) Kinyua came from the Mt. Kenya region where he lived with his two siblings and his mother. From a young age, Yusuf was responsible for the care of his sisters after the early death of his mother. Due to his difficult circumstance, he found himself dealing with hardships that many children his age never have to face. After a while, Yusuf was brought to our organization by a good Samaritan.

Yusuf has resided at D4K for several years now and is at Kerugoya Hupperhill Seniors School in Form two. He is a very understanding and trustworthy individual who enjoys music and would like to study law. He often sites what he learned from his mother to " Always leave the place better than you found it.”
